The Western Star is monthly edition paper that is printed usually in the 3rd week of the month.  There is copies available at Riverton Community House and numerous other businesses in Riverton including Te Hikoi Museum where The Western Star office is.

Fiordland Community House is a 'Hub of Community Services' providing the Te Anau and Fiordland area with a host of services - Heartlands, Community Health Shuttle, Community Connector, Counselling, Employment, Community Family Worker, Foodbank, Office Hire and a variety of community information.
